The Chapter has announced its next event: The Judicial Confirmation Process.
The 2018 confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States reminded Americans of just how tumultuous and controversial the judicial confirmation process can be. But what goes into shepherding a nominee through the process from nomination to confirmation? Join Milwaukee attorney Rebecca Taibleson as she moderates a discussion with Judge Sarah Pitlyk, of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and Judge Justin Walker, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. All three clerked together for then-Judge Kavanaugh on the D.C. Circuit and will share their insights on the process of becoming a federal judge.
